Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using superAEO (the "Service") on your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the app.

2. What the Service does

superAEO tracks how AI search engines mention your brand, generates gap reports comparing your visibility against competitors, and produces improvement plans based on those gaps. Outputs are advisory; you remain responsible for any business decisions you make with them.

3. Subscription and billing

• The Service is billed through the Shopify Billing API. By subscribing, you authorize Shopify to charge the recurring fee for your selected plan.
• A 3-day free trial is available once per Shopify store. After the trial, your selected plan begins billing automatically.
• Plans renew every 30 days. Cancel any time from your Shopify Admin or by uninstalling the app.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers by email and in-app banner. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
• Refunds: we don't offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, email billing@superaeo.app within 30 days.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to track AI visibility on behalf of stores you don't own or have explicit permission to track.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or resell our analysis outputs.
• Submit prompts that are illegal, defamatory, or designed to extract harmful content from AI engines.
• Use the Service in a way that violates the terms of service of any underlying AI provider (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity, DeepSeek).

5. Third-party AI providers

The Service relies on third-party AI APIs to produce its outputs. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or behavior of those providers. AI engines occasionally produce incorrect, biased, or hallucinated content. Outputs from superAEO should be reviewed before acting on them.

6. Data ownership and license

You retain ownership of your store data and the prompts you configure. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service, including sending prompts to AI providers, storing responses, and generating reports. We do not use your data to train models or sell it to third parties.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled tracking runs may be delayed or skipped during provider outages, infrastructure incidents, or maintenance. We don't credit subscriptions for short interruptions; for outages lasting more than 72 hours, email us and we'll work out a fair credit.

8. Termination

You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify Admin. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, if your Shopify subscription lapses, or if continuing service would expose us to legal risk. 9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost rankings, or business interruption.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email and in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Mumbai, India.
